Aaron Rodgers is a professional American football quarterback who currently plays for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 2, 1983 in Chico, California.
Rodgers attended the University of California, Berkeley where he played college football for the California Golden Bears. In 2005, he declared for the NFL Draft and was selected 24th overall by the Green Bay Packers.
After serving as a backup quarterback for a few seasons, Rodgers became the starting quarterback for the Packers in 2008. He has since become one of the most successful quarterbacks in the NFL, winning the league MVP award multiple times and leading the Packers to a Super Bowl victory in 2011.
Off the field, Rodgers is known for his philanthropic efforts and has been involved in various charitable causes. He is also a vocal advocate for social and environmental issues.
